The original Stomper! Hendrik grew up on the Garden Route, has been guiding since 2003 and running Earthstompers and creating itineraries for many happy guests since 2006. Hendrik has a passion for all things foodie and wine. Pair those with the beach, bush, wildlife, mountains and a braai fire and you have a happy Hendrik. He is a real treat to have on a wine or foodie tour or to help you design an unforgettable South African experience.

Chrissy is an American who grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She has always loved to travel, and now has that travel bug permanently “scratched” by living in and exploring South Africa. Chrissy specializes in the financial affairs of Earthstompers, everything from payments to tour pricing to Forex to accounting. Prior to Earthstompers, she spent many years working for the US Environmental Protection Agency on air quality and climate change.

Cindy is our General Manager. She has a huge passion for nature, particularly scenic hiking trails and great swimming spots. She has worked in South Africa’s adventure tourism industry since 2010. With a portable “braai” and snorkeling gear in her trunk, she’s always adventure ready!

Fazlin’s journey with Earthstompers started in 2018 when she joined us for an internship program arranged through Tourism Boot Camp. We knew instantly that she would be a great asset to our team. With many years of customer service under her belt, she strikes the perfect balance between personable, timeous and excellent service to our clients. Fazlin enjoys the outdoors and loves spending time with her family and dog-children.

Nicole is born and raised in Pretoria. After school she studied a diploma in Culinary Arts, but instead fell in love with guiding. She has worked on the Garden Route since 2007 and nowadays splits her time between family, and private tour consulting. With her extensive knowledge in local travel she is excellent at curating unforgettable travel experiences for our guests visiting South Africa.

EXPERIENCE CREATOR & SUPER GUIDE
Wendy is a seasoned guide, having experienced the dirt roads of Southern Africa on her overlanding days, and showing off Cape Town and the Garden Route in recent years. She is cool and calm, and manages any tour itinerary with ease. With her exceptional knowledge of South Africa and her passion for people, she creates a spectacular tour experience for our guests.

After spending over 20 years in the corporate world, Terri made a career shift to pursue a lifelong passion for travel and culture. Trained as a professional tourist guide, she combines a wealth of business experience with a deep knowledge of local history, landmarks, and hidden gems. With a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life, Terri delivers engaging, personalized tours that bring destinations to life in a way that’s both informative and enjoyable.

GUEST SUPPORT & SUPER GUIDE

Christine is a farm girl from Robertson. She spent 10 years as a wine representative in the Roberston Wine Valley, and her skills and knowledge of wine and farming, come through in her guiding commentary. In 2017 she decided to spread her wings and explore a different occupation, giving her more freedom to travel South Africa and share it with guests from all over the world!

Guiding along the Garden Route for over a decade, Gareth knows his way around and loves sharing these special destinations with guests. When he’s not on tour he enjoys exploring the outdoors, preferably on his mountain bike. His relaxed, and professional guiding style will have you feeling comfortable and excited for the journey ahead!

Rochelle grew up in the small rural town of Musina, near the Zimbabwean border, where she found a love for South Africa’s inherent beauty as well as having a distinct fondness for climbing baobab trees and braving the Limpopo River. After being in the corporate real estate world for 10 years she found her calling as a tour guide.

Steph is one of Earthstompers’ first guides and has been part of our team since 2013! She has (mostly) retired from guiding these days, and now helps our financial affairs in order.

Born and raised in Kenya & the UK- RSA has been Radheeka’s hearts’ home since 2000. She worked in the corporate world of international business development before becoming a guide. Her journey with Earthstompers started in 2017. She loves being outdoors and suffering FOMO for her guests with all the beauty the cape offers. When not guiding she enjoys hikes, yoga and she’s a student of the French and Italian language. She loves connecting old history with architecture and culture.

RADHEEKA

SUPER GUIDE
Mark is extremely passionate about South Africa’s outdoors, people, food, culture and environment. Growing up, his father being an avid competitive spearfisherman exposed him to the outdoors and the incredible sea life on our coastlines. This intrigued him greatly and he was absolutely fascinated about the sea and the outdoors as a child. He loves sharing stories with Earthstompers’ guests about this beautiful place we call home.

Jaco is a guide from Gqeberha, in the Eastern Cape, with a lifelong passion for South Africa’s wondrous natural beauty, fascinating history, diverse cultures and incredible people. He’s most at home along the Garden Route, in the Karoo, or at the Wild Coast, camera in hand, sharing his beloved home with guests.

Gareth started his tourism career 9 years ago at an overlanding company, blessed to see some of the most beautiful places Africa has to offer. He is also a qualified chef who has worked in various restaurants around the country. He has a deep passion for South Africa and loves his job as a guide and always enjoys meeting new people and giving them a great experience.

From financial markets to a world of adventure, Roy traded the office grind for sunrise hikes in 2020. Years of cycling, running, and being outdoors helped him into a new career of adventure guiding. Happiest in the mountains and winelands with a coffee or wine in hand, Roy is always looking forward to the next adventure with our guests.

Elroy grew up on a farm, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for nature. From the rugged mountains of the Cederberg to the coastal beauty of the Garden Route, Elroy has traveled extensively, seeking adventure and connection with the land. His love for outdoor activities, hiking, camping and wildlife watching continues to inspire his journeys across the country.
