At Earthstompers, we’re passionate about nature, exploration, food, and uncovering unique experiences to share with our guests. Below, you’ll find a selection of our top recommendations for Cape Town, including iconic attractions like Table Mountain, Cape Point, and the Cape Winelands. We’ve also included some of our favourite off-the-beaten-path day trips to hidden gems. Our tours are customizable to suit your travel style—whether you’re a hiker, diver, mountain biker, golfer, foodie, leisure traveler, waterfall chaser, or looking for something different, we’re here to help you design your perfect Cape Town trip.

The Western Cape of South Africa is home to more than 500 wineries, and on this tour we will visit a few of our favourites in the Stellenbosch wine region. We typically visit three wineries, and we like to consult with our clients on the day to tailor the stops to their tastes.

This is a great way to get an introduction to “the Mother City”, Cape Town. Go for a tour in the city and surrounding area, including the city centre, Company’s Gardens, Cape Town Castle, the Bo Kaap, Signal Hill and the V&A Waterfront.

The Elgin Valley is one of our favourite places to tour. It is located approximately one hour to the east of Cape Town, over the Sir Lowry’s mountain pass. It is known for its cool-climate wines, particularly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and produces 60% of South Africa’s apple crop.

Join us for a trip along the Southern Coast to Hermanus, known for Southern Right Whale watching. See a colony of endangered African Penguins, and choose between land-based whale watching, or going on a whale watching boat trip in Hermanus.
Something that goes hand in hand with our love for good food & wine is our passion for people and the environment. We endeavour to make responsible choices when creating itineraries, and are mindful of where we eat and who we support. This tour was designed for guests who take responsible traveling seriously.
