Itinerary for private 7 Day Garden Route tour
Day 1: Cape Town – Private Game Reserve
Pickup at Cape Town International Airport, and settle into your accommodation for the evening.

Day 2: Private Game Reserve
Today is a full day to enjoy on safari. Go on morning and afternoon game drives, spending time in nature and learning more about the flora and fauna of this area. Midday, you will have time to relax in your room or at the lodge; or for some healthy outdoor exercise, mountain bike trails and guided fynbos walks are available.

Day 3: Private Game Reserve – Wilderness - Plettenberg Bay
Depart on a sunrise game drive, this time hoping to spot some of the more nocturnal animals, such as lion. After breakfast, we will check out of the game reserve and make our way into the heart of the Garden Route, Plettenberg Bay. This stretch of coast is known for its lovely scenery, including indigenous forest, a large warm-water estuary, and the Outeniqua Mountains.

Day 4: Plett – Tsitsikamma – return
Today, we take in the beauty of Tsitsikamma National Park. The morning will be spent in the park, with its unique combination of indigenous forest and beautiful Indian Ocean coastline. The park has a wide choice of activities for all, including hiking, crossing a suspension bridge, and swimming.

Day 5: Plettenberg Bay - Knysna
After a few days on the road exploring, enjoy a morning at leisure. Your guide and tour vehicle are available for outings in the area. We suggest exploring the beautiful coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. You can relax on one of the beautiful beaches, enjoy lunch at one of the great restaurants, taste one of the local wines at an area winery, or get active with a hike on the spectacular Robberg Nature Reserve. In the afternoon, we travel to another famous town of the Garden Route, Knysna.

Day 7: Knysna – Oudtshoorn - Cape Town (via Route 62)
On our final touring day, we make our way back to Cape Town via the scenic route 62. We travel over the Outeniqua Mountain Pass, and into the Klein Karoo at Oudtshoorn, known as the Ostrich capital of the world. Enjoy the small-town charm of the Klein Karoo, before finishing the tour in Cape Town in the early evening.
