Dear Earthstompers Family,
This year, we’re proud to be celebrating 20 years in travel — two decades of sharing the beauty, diversity, and soul of Southern Africa with people from all over the world.
When Earthstompers began in 2005, it was just one of us, a minibus, and a dream to show off the country we love. What started as a small Garden Route tour company has grown into something far greater than we ever imagined. And we owe so much of that to you, our community of travelers, supporters, suppliers, friends and of course our wonderful office team and guides.
After 20 incredible years, we’ve taken the next exciting step in our journey, and we’re excited to share a new chapter in our story. Things have changed organically over the years; we’ve grown older and more “sophisticated”, our guests have returned and asked what is next, what is new, what else can you offer……guests who travelled with me as youngsters now have families, businesses and want more…
It is no longer just Earthstompers Adventures, we’re offering so much more: to better reflect who we are and how we’ve grown, we’re officially introducing Earthstompers Travel as our mother brand, with two dedicated sub-brands underneath, designed to better serve the unique needs and interests of our travelers.
We’re still the same passionate team, operating from the same office — just with more focused offerings and clearer ways for you to engage with us.
Earthstompers Adventures – Our original, affordable, fun, fast-paced Garden Route group tours and safaris! After all these years we’re still running weekly tours packed with the same energy, connection, and adventure that made Earthstompers what it is today. We also still run private day tours around Cape Town, the Winelands and Whale Coast and affordable private economy tours of the Garden Route.
Earthstompers Luxury Travel & Safaris – A new name for something we’ve been offering for years. As Earthstompers Adventures grew, so did the demand for private, tailor-made luxury holidays and safaris. Now, these experiences have their own dedicated space (and name) — with the same trusted team, but a new name and a clear focus on bespoke, high-end travel across Southern Africa.
To reflect this growth, we’ve also split our social media presence to better connect with each of our unique travel audiences:
@earthstompers – the original place for all Earthstompers guests. From our fun, adventurous group tour travelers to private tour guests and Earthstompers friends, fans and family;
@earthstompers.luxury – our new account, with a focus on luxury travel & safaris for those dreaming of bespoke, luxury African escapes
This change allows us to speak more directly to each audience, offering curated content and inspiration that matches your travel interests — instead of speaking to two very different markets in one space.
Through it all, Earthstompers Travel remains one passionate team, one shared mission, and one unwavering commitment: to deliver enriching, authentic, and unforgettable travel experiences in Southern Africa.
