Chobe Game Lodge, Chobe Waterfront
The Chobe River, marking the northern edge of Chobe National Park, is famous for its rich wildlife viewing. This area is particularly noted for its large populations of elephants and hippos, as well as various other animals like buffalo herds and the lions that hunt them. Visitors can expect close wildlife encounters and can enjoy activities such as game drives along the riverbanks & riverboat cruises.

Road transfer: Kasane Airport to Chobe Game Lodge (+/- 30 minutes)

Overnight:
Savute Safari Lodge, Chobe National Park
Savute Safari Lodge is situated along the Savute Channel, a fickle water source in a remote area hosting large numbers of wildlife. Savute has Africa’s second-largest summer zebra migration, typically occurring from November to December and again from February to April, depending on the rains. During this time, zebras journey from the northern rivers to the rain-fed grasslands and filled waterholes in the park’s southwest. This migration attracts a high concentration of predators, making it a must-see for visitors.

Xugana Island Lodge, Okavango Delta
Today we are off to the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Xugana Lagoon is renowned as the most breathtaking permanent water site in the Okavango Delta. Xugana Island Lodge, located on a wooded island beside the lagoon, makes the most of this stunning location. Guests can explore the Delta through mokoro trips in traditional dugout canoes, boat safaris to various lagoons and islands, and wilderness walks. These activities offer the chance to see wildlife such as sitatunga and lechwe antelope, crocodiles, hippos, and other big game. Bird-watching is exceptional, and fishing for bream and tiger fish can be very rewarding at certain times of the year. All activities are led by knowledgeable naturalist guides, who ensure safety and share their extensive understanding and passion for the area.

Camp Xakanaxa is positioned along the Khwai River on the Xakanaxa Lagoon in the Moremi Game Reserve, offering an authentic year-round safari experience in the Okavango Delta. The camp features twelve spacious Meru-style safari tents, located around the lagoon’s edge, with private viewing decks. The camp sits within a rich habitat that supports an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, wildebeest, kudu, lechwe, lions, leopards, and more. Birdwatching here is outstanding, especially in spring and summer when migratory species are nesting.
